Welcome to the most interessting part of MatEdit. With MatEdit we try to provide you with unique and easier ways of iterating and prototyping your materials. Creating a gradient in a picture processing software, copy it to your Unity3D project and apply it to your material is a tedious task.
With the newly introduced Shader Graph in Unity 2018 this problem is somewhat reduced. However MatEdit will seek for new ways to simplify and enhance your material workflow in the future.
