Hello, my name is

Marian Brinkmann

Game Programmer and Media Enthusiast

About Me

I am Marian Brinkmann, a German game and tool developer currently located in Cambridge, UK.

Since August 2019 I am a Tools Programmer at Frontier Developments in Cambridge and so far I had the opportunity to support the development of Planet Zoo, Jurassic World Evolution, Elite Dangerous Odyssey, and other projects.

Before that I studied Animation and Game at the University of Applied Science Darmstadt from October 2015 to February 2019.

I am very passionate about games in general, studying Animation and Game gave me the perfect opportunity to combine games and programming. This drive helped me a lot in the projects I developed during my studies, such as Mátki, The Tower and Oddly Assorted, which you can find below in the projects section.

During my studies I was able to join a local indie game studio as intern to work on a turn-based strategy game named UnderRaid.

In my free time I develop smaller Apps with a friend and Minecraft minigame plugins for a private server. And if I am not stuck in front of my computer I like to take photos on hikes, sing, or watch movies.
